• FlightPrep partners with CSC to provide software that permits pilots to flight plan and get weather briefings.
• There is no shared information between FlightPrep and CSC DUATS user accounts;

  • FlightPrep has no way to access your DUATS account

FlightPrep writes and updates the Golden Eagle software program. We also create data updates every 56 days as mandated by the FAA. FlightPrep provides a Internet web-based download service that many Golden Eagle users access to update their Golden Eagle software program.

CSC DUATS offers FAA-sponsored services to pilots, dispatchers and others authorized by the FAA. They maintain DUATS access accounts that enable these users to access their weather information services. The DUATS service is funded by the FAA, partially paid by the taxes you pay for the purchase of aviation fuel.

CSC DUATS distributes the Golden Eagle program for free. They may have given you a copy of the program at the trade shows they attend including (but not limited to) Sun N Fun, Oshkosh AirVenture, National Business Aviation Association, Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association.

CSC DUATS provides Technical Support for Golden Eagle FlightPrep software users through their Help Desk service. DUATS Help Desk is staffed 24 hours, 7 days a week. Golden Eagle FlightPrep users can get Technical Support by writing email to duats@duats.com or calling the toll-free phone (800) 345-3828 extension 4.

• CSC DUATS provides "free-for-the-asking" program discs via their Help Desk at 800-345-3828. Note these discs may require downloading and applying additional updates.
• FlightPrep provides an automatic annual delivery service of the newest release of Golden Eagle FlightPrep software every 56 days for a token shipping and handling charge.

CSC DUATS does not provide any direct monetary remuneration for Golden Eagle FlightPrep software or for the data file update services. They do provide technical support services and other considerations.

FlightPrep develops and sells award-winning electronic flight bag, flight planning and moving map software programs. FlightPrep also offers a subscription-based online flight planning service.? Although these services greatly surpass the capability of Golden Eagle FlightPrep, they are not required to use the Golden Eagle program or updates. Many Golden Eagle FlightPrep clients enjoy using the free software and eventually want to move up to access more features, charts, and approach plates. We build and sell software to fill these needs and constantly work to improve our products.
